I really need to find a copy of 7.0 (updates are probably not really that important to me as the collection I have to sort through (deceased brother's cards) is mostly older stuff. I just need something with the "checklists" for baseball, football, and basketball as the prices are not crucial yet.

Unfortunately, The Card Collector application is not available anymore. I've searched the web and it appears that the developers (Becket) migrated the entire application into an online-service accessible from their website.

I've also searched other websites to find the software but couldn't since there is no link available. I recommend checking the online service to see what is all about. The data is stored in the cloud which means it's available from any place with Internet.

No, the application is not compatible with Windows 10. The official website doesn't even work anymore, which means that there is no compatibility. You can use another application called Sports Card Organizer Deluxe which works on Windows 10 and the other versions of Windows. Access the official page using the link posted below.

Is there a conversion tool or Card Collector Software Package that can convert my existing Card Collector 7.0 database file and import into new card collector software?

I've searched the web, but I couldn't find anything specific to your inquiry. For this type of applications, it's best to export the contents to its proprietary format, then use updated versions of the same app to try to import them. I've seen companies supporting this practice for their products and it's done to ensure the user keeps his records without encountering issues or something related.

Typically, you can use the classical File > Export or File > Save and then use that file on a newer version of the software to load it up. If the software supports, the database should be converted and adapted automatically.

I am looking to do and update and found the company is no longer in business. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the last available information the company put out for updates? Thanks to anyone who reads and follows up.

The developers of The Card Collector are actually still in the business, only that they've retired the software and replaced with with a web based one called Organize. The new application is running inside a browser and stores the data online into your account.

I recommend checking the available website to see how it works and additional FAQ pages to get answers to most questions.
