I was searching around today to see what new things may have been written about this. I used the program since 5.25 floppy disks and DOS and last version was 7.0. The ownership were awful people (this program was bought and sold 4-5 times since 1991 when I got my first copy) and when Tuff Stuff magazine went out of business Beckett sued them for copywriter saying they were stealing pricing data. I wish I had bought the 2016 update, they have been gone since about then. You can still install and use but no updates except for manual updating. Beckett offered me a free 1 year subscription to their on-line database but no way to transfer my 250,000 cards to their database. I still use it all the time sans any support. I have a way to install if you're interested

I used to contribute to this software a lot of set and card data for the owner. At the time he told me that the issue that Beckett had was with the pricing data that he included in the software. If I recall correctly, Beckett was claiming that he was using their pricing data.

But I agree with your sentiment, Michael. I miss this product too. I found it a much more useful tool than the Organize feature on Beckett's site.

Stephen, the Beckett site requires a subscription and no way to put your current database into the Beckett one.

This is a shame. The Card Collector let me update when I needed too not constantly. I get in and out of the hobby every couple of years. I want something I maintain not monthly.

Not sure why Beckett could sue them, since I thought stuff Stuff was providing the data but, i guess deeper pockets won.
